No child should feel lonely at Christmas

Christmas Appeal

For many of the children and young people we care for, Christmas can be a lonely time. The time of year when others are happy and spending the day with family can be very difficult for our children. And for young people who have left care or are homeless, they can find themselves on their own with no family to be with.

With your help, we can make sure our children and young people feel safe, loved and happy this Christmas.

‘I don’t know where I would be without St Christopher’s. It is like a family.’

Ella’s story

Ella had recently moved out into her own flat aged 16. She wasn’t sure if she would have anyone to spend Christmas with – but St Christopher’s was able to help.

Because she had such strong relationships with the staff in her former children’s home, she felt able to get in touch with them about her worries.

Read her story below to find out what happened next.
