Young person presents at conference

Trusted Spaces

St Christopher’s presented the work of our Trusted Spaces team at the CYP Now Early Help Conference on Wednesday 25 September to an audience of professionals and commissioners.

Along with project partners from Ealing Council, the team outlined how their outreach work in schools has reached more than 1,000 children and young in West London people to date.

A young person who works with Trusted Spaces also took part in the presentation, sharing her experiences of working with the team and the positive impact of having a trusted adult in her life.

Trusted Spaces is a Home Office funded pilot designed to tackle Serious Youth Violence and keep young people safe from sexual and criminal exploitation. Our team work across the London Borough of Ealing in youth clubs and schools, building meaningful relationships with young people that reflect our social pedagogic ways of working.

If you would like St Christopher’s to present at an upcoming conference, please get in touch.
