‘My Journey’ reveals route to brighter futures
A new film aimed at raising awareness of how St Christopher’s 16+ services help young people find their way to a brighter future has been launched.
‘My Journey: Transitions to Independence’ is the latest in a series produced as part of the Wrap project. In the film, young people from St Christopher’s services describe how St Christopher’s have supported them to turn their lives around.
Funding from the Ashden Trust, one of the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts, and the Big Lottery Fund has allowed young people from St Christopher’s to work with professional film makers to create a series of films that communicate important issues in a relevant and engaging way.
Phil Townsend, Deputy Director of UK Services said: “These films really underline our commitment to using social media as an effective means of reaching out to young people.”
