Creating brighter futures in North London

St Christopher’s is delighted to share that we have retained the contract to provide children’s residential care in the London Borough of Camden for up to five years.

St Christopher’s has worked in Camden for a number of years, caring for and supporting 166 children in care and care leavers in the last four years alone.

Relationships are at the heart of our approach to care. Maintaining this service means we can offer consistency and stability to young people, which is essential for helping children in care to thrive.

This outcome maintains St Christopher’s strategic progress towards brighter futures for double the number of children and young people by 2023.

Chief Executive Jonathan Whalley said: “I am delighted to announce that St Christopher’s will be continuing to provide children’s residential care to Camden Council. We have a fantastic working partnership with the team in Camden and look forward to creating brighter futures for even more children and young people in the borough.”
