We supported 983 children and young people in 2018

Head, Heart, Hands is our annual impact report celebrating the achievements of our children and young people over the last year. In 2017-18 we created brighter futures for 983 children and young people through our residential homes, foster homes and specialist support services.

This year the report was co-produced alongside young people, who wrote the welcome messages and interviewed senior leadership and trustees. They did this so they could make sure we included the things that they think are important about St Christopher’s and the ways we support children and young people.

The stories and accomplishments you will read about in the impact reports are real examples of the work we have been doing. None of these achievements would be possible without the support of our wonderful staff and foster carers. They go above and beyond for the children and young people we work with and help us to create brighter futures every single day.

We hope you enjoy our impact report, which is available below.

We also produced an impact report celebrating our services on the Isle of Man. Thanks to our strong partnership with the Isle of Man Government, we are able to pilot new services and explore innovative ways of supporting children and young people.

'These stories make me feel so proud to be part of St Christopher’s. The report is an excellent reminder of why we all do what we do – because we want to make a difference to children’s lives.'

Ron Giddens, Chief Executive (retiring October 2018)
