Supported housing

Supported housing can really make a difference in the lives of people facing the prospect of homelessness. It is a vital step towards fully independent living.

We work in partnership with a number of local authorities, providing safe and comfortable supported houses and flats with 24-hour support for 16-21 year-olds. We also provide floating support services for young people who have moved to a place of their own, and a highly regarded hostel for homeless adults.

Our assessment centres provide safe accommodation for homeless young people while their needs are assessed in order to refer them to an appropriate type of accommodation, while our homeless intervention projects use the experiences of our own service users to reduce youth homelessness.

Our education, training and employment services are tailor-made to meet the individual needs of all our service users. We aim to give everyone the qualifications, as well as the self-esteem and practical life skills they need to face the future with confidence.

"Staff helped me get a flat of my own and a job with the council. I’m still working there and my worker at the hostel keeps in contact to make sure I’m all right."
