St Christopher’s Mitcham Fostering team ran stalls at two school fetes this month: at Cypress Hill in South Norwood and Elmwood in Croydon. Both days were a great success, generating plenty of interest from the local community.
St Christopher’s Fostering was one of the local organisations present, along with the local fire brigade and recycling team, among the stalls of multi-cultural foods, performances by the children, competitions, steel band music and games.
St. Christopher’s balloons and free goodies proved very popular with all the children, parents and teachers, who gave very positive feedback and made the team feel welcome.
They were able to reach a diverse range of cultures such as Black African and Caribbean, Asian and White British families, who showed great interest in St. Christopher’s Fostering.
