Taxi drivers support drive to find foster carers

As we are increasing our efforts to recruit foster carers in the Southend area, we have joined forces with Paul Sutton of the Southend Taxi Drivers’ Association and AC Taxis to help promote the cause.  Paul has helped to display information in 250 of the taxis and minicabs in the area.

Each taxi taking part in the scheme has received a pack containing car stickers, receipt pads and information to display about fostering.

Mr Sutton said: “We hope we can publicise the vital need there is for foster parents in Southend.”

Chloe Strickland of St Christopher’s said: “Everyone involved is very passionate about fostering, and St Christopher’s is grateful for the help taxi drivers are giving us in promoting this service.”
