Congratulations to St Christopher’s service user participation project, which was runner-up in the innovation and progress category of this year’s Guardian Public Services Awards.
Service User Participation Worker Vanessa Bell and former service user Lara Macardle, who lead the project, represented St Christopher’s at the awards ceremony in Central London last night.
The prestigious awards were established by the Guardian newspaper to recognise hard work and bright ideas across the public sector.
Our service user participation project aims is to ensure that service users are involved and consulted at every level of St Christopher’s development; that the services provided are exactly what service users need, and that they are constantly evaluated and improved.
