Once again Limegrove Hostel has made an appearance on the BBC as part of a two-part documentary entitled ‘Famous, Rich and Homeless’.
Cameras followed four celebrities whilst they slept rough on the streets and continued the pathway out of homelessness and into hostels in London and Glasgow. The celebrity allocated to Limegrove was former editor of the Independent, Rosie Boycott. Rosie arrived at Limegrove full of preconceptions about hostel life but soon discovered that far from being the stuff of nightmares, the hostel is actually a clean, safe and very supportive environment where people can deal with their issues and move towards a positive future.
