At St Christopher’s we strive to provide an environment where our colleagues can grow and develop. We do this through providing training and a supportive environment.
Customer Service Excellence Award
We have retained our Customer Service Excellence Award since 2011 and have received 100 per cent compliance in each of the required standards.
They said: “St Christopher’s reputation among local authority commissioners is one of uncompromising commitment to the needs of the young people.”
By working for our charity you would be part of a team that recognises the needs of the young people and local authorities we work with and tailors our services accordingly.
In-house training for managers
At St Christopher’s we run Personal Excellence Seminars (PES) for all of our managers. These are regular sessions that look at specific management topics and best practice as well as wider discussions around the challenges and opportunities in our sector.
Developing our people
At St Christopher’s we are committed to attracting new people to the sector and this is why we run a trainee care worker scheme that we recruit for on an annual basis.
In 2013, we launched a fast track to management programme that will see new managers learn about a variety of St Christopher’s services and be provided with access to a mentor to learn about managing people.
