Leave a gift in your will and create a lasting legacy
When the time is right for you to make your will, as well as remembering your family and friends, you may wish to consider supporting the next generation of young people by leaving a gift to St Christopher’s. Any gift will make a profound difference to the lives of vulnerable young people.
How gifts in wills help us
Gifts in wills help us to run projects we wouldn’t otherwise be able to. A recent gift in the will of a supporter allowed us to kick-start our Activities Programme for young people. This offers opportunities to learn, develop and grow through activities such as playing sports, visiting exhibitions or attending the theatre – opportunities many have never had before.
Jonny Elphinstone, manager of a home caring for young people aged 16 and over, said:
“We are so excited about all the ways the Diamond Fund will benefit our young people. This gift of a legacy is an incredibly generous gesture and we hope that the Fund will be a fitting memory of our supporters.”
Making a will
Writing a will allows you to ensure your savings and possessions go to the people and causes you care about. Your solicitor can help you plan, write or amend your will, as well as advising you how to include a gift to a charity such as St Christopher’s.
Pledge to leave a gift in your will
If you would like to leave a gift to St Christopher’s in your will and support vulnerable children in the future please let us know in confidence by filling in our pledge form. Thank you for the huge difference you will be making to young people’s lives.
