St Christopher’s is absolutely committed to fundraising responsibly. We value and respect our relationships with our supporters, many of whom have given generously to us over years, even decades, to help our work with young people.
St Christopher’s is a member of the Fundraising Standards Board (www.frsb.org.uk) and submits voluntarily to its regulation. We adhere strictly to the Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Fundraising Practice, which is enforced by the FRSB.
We manage all of our information about supporters strictly in compliance with the Data Protection Act, which is enforced by the Office of the Information Commissioner. We do not sell, share or swop any of our information about our supporters.
We send our Opening Doors newsletter to supporters twice each year to keep them informed about our work and show the difference their gifts have made. Additionally, we ask for their support for our annual Christmas appeal. We will also email supporters occasionally if they have indicated they would like to receive information in this way.
All of our printed fundraising communications and emails include details of what to do if you would like St Christopher’s to stop contacting you. There is an “unsubscribe” link on each email.
If you would like any more information on how we raise funds at St Christopher’s, or you have any concerns, please contact us at fundraising@stchristopher’s.org.uk.
