To make a referral phone our team on 0800 234 6282 or email referrals@stchris.org.uk.
The home is based in a substantial house and provides:
- experienced staff, trained and supported to a high level
- a contemporary and homely environment
- a well-equipped computer room and chill-out area
- a large rear garden.
These all contribute to high quality care for very vulnerable young people.
We provide:
- Initial assessments
- Emergency placements
- Continuity of education and assistance in accessing local school placements
- Education-focussed activities
We help young people access full time education. Where a full time school place is temporarily unavailable, St Christopher’s provides alternative education-focussed activities and support. The home has a separate on-site base for external tutors.
St Christopher’s expertise
St Christopher's works in partnership with local authorities and families in the knowledge that children who are looked after by us are amongst society's most vulnerable. Our approach has been developed and evaluated in partnership with the Lifespan Research Group. The model is a combination of learning from Social Pedagogy, Attachment Theory and a Programme of Behaviour Management. It focuses on supporting young people to maximise their potential.

Our fees
Fees are highly competitive - especially so for Inner London. Rates are negotiated based on numbers commissioned and length of placement. An additional fee for education activities will be charged where a young person is not in full time school.
